Is it normal for a 6 to have a high fever for 3 days followed by a rash on his torso and puffy eyes?
My daughter had a fever reached its peak at night to 40 degrees C, and fell in the morning to 37-38 degrees C
She was tired and less energetic, but other wise good.
Fever ended on the morning of the third day with the disease. In the morning her eyes were swollen. She went to school but Complained of a head ache. That night, bath time, I realized I had a rash on her torso like roseola.
He took us to see the doctor here in Japan. I trust this doctor, but there is a language barrier as Japanese is not my first language. He said it was roseola. It also said it was common that children have rashes after high fevers.
She had her flu vaccine 10 days before the fever.
It often has a runny nose.
If some could confirm or give more input would be appreciated.
Finally I thought it was roseola, but the doctor found that less likely.
Thank You in Advance

The flu vaccine may have caused the fever and rash. She also could have an allergy to chicken pox or the vaccine happened. I know it's very common to have fever after a child receives shots. I would get a second opinion.
It is common that a child has a rash after a fever, but if I had any type of sore throat (which may not have even complained that many children do not) who may have had strep. The sore throat for strep throat will get better on its own, but the strept inftection remains in the body and sometimes causes scarlet fever, a rash on the abdomen. Strept left untreated can cause more serious infections.
Ask your daughter if she had a sore throat at all, and if she did not want to go to the doctor again and ask if there strept infection.
Several viruses can cause a rash after a fever activates. Try site WebMD and type of viral rash. There should be plenty of good information. It is a very good general health. Sorry about your daughter, glad you feel better.
that at all can be caused by the influenza vaccine. No, vaccinate t. take herbs, vitamins want to enhance the immune system. echinacea, zinc, vitamin C, vegetables, garlic, onions, etc..
I would get another opinion from someone you can communicate with the best.
See another doctor. A high fever for 3 days in a child so young is not normal.
Does evidence of strep throat? Skin rashes appear after a couple of days sometimes.
To answer your question, no, im pretty sure that is not normal
If your concern ask your doctor
